Candidates should have a strong academic qualification (1st Class or 2.1 Honours Degree, or Post Graduate Degree) in a relevant discipline, eg. Electronic Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, with 4 to 7 years experience in an ASIC/FPGA design environment.

We are looking for people who can demonstrate a strong technical ability and understanding, and are self driven and innovative with the ability to deliver results, correct first time and on schedule, for complex design assignments with minimum supervision. Fluency in English and good presentation skills are essential.

Candidates should have experience in some of the following areas: System Design Techniques, SOC, Complex Digital Logic Design, Embedded System Development.

Verilog/VHDL implementation and verification, simulation tools. FPGA Development tools (e.g. Altera, Xilinx, Actel).

Verification Languages and techniques, SystemVerilog, VMM, OVM. Logic Synthesis, Placement, Timing Closure.

High Speed Interfaces and High Speed Design.

In additional knowledge and experience in the following areas would be beneficial:

• Computer Networks, Communications, Multimedia, Automotive Electronics.
• Programming Languages (C++, Java, OOD techniques).
• Embedded Software Development.
• Perl.
• Project Management and Team Leading.
